Almost everybody loves travelling. There are, however, many different types of travelers. Some people prefer spending many hours on a plane only to get to a distant island where they will do nothing else but lie on the beach and gather sunlight, happily snoozing under a tropical palm tree. When talking about perfumes and perfume museums, we can\u2019t start with anything else but the cradle of perfumery, Grasse, and its most famous museum, called \u201cMus\u00e9e International de la Parfumerie\u201d, or International Perfume Museum. A true feast for the senses, this museum will fascinate you with perfume images, artifacts, as well as rich history and culture. It was back in 1918 when Francois Carnot opened the first private museum in Grasse. With almost a hundred years of history, the International Perfume Museum has several symbolic areas, which include the entrance pavilion of the ancient Hugues-A\u00een\u00e9 perfumery (built back in the nineteenth century), the former P\u00e9lissier building, as well as beautiful gardens and leveled terraces with breathtaking views.<\/p>\n

The Fragrance Museum Farina-House in Cologne, Germany will reveal to you over 3 centuries of perfume history connected with the famous perfume dynasty Farina. Except for the impressive collection of art objects, paintings, and showcases with glasses and flacons from antiquity to modern days, the museum offers its visitors the opportunity to sneak peek at the \u201cchamber of essences\u201d.
